At the AthTAG GENKIDAMA AWARD 2025 held on 11 November 2025, Sara Matsui was awarded the top prize, the GOLD PRIZE.
The AthTAG GENKIDAMA AWARD is a pitch contest designed to support athletes challenging themselves on the world stage, such as at the Olympics. It is an event where athletes present their dreams, goals, and activities.
From numerous applications across the nation, eight individuals were selected as ‘GENKIDAMA Athletes’ after passing the selection process.
Shortly after returning from Europe, we held our final presentation at CITY HALL & GALLERY GOTANDA on 11 November.
Following rigorous assessment, we were awarded the top prize, the GOLD PRIZE.

The AthTAG GENKIDAMA AWARD 2025 was held, where we gave a presentation and were honoured to receive the AthTAG Grand Prize, the “GOLD PRIZE”.
I would like to express my deepest gratitude to the legendary athletes Mr Atsuya Furuta, Mr Tadahiro Nomura, Ms Kimiko Date, and Ms Reiko Shiota, as well as the organisers, participating companies, and supporting companies, for granting me this truly wonderful opportunity to present.
Once again, I extend my heartfelt gratitude to all the participating athletes and to everyone who supported us.
We intend to utilise the activity support funding provided to us this time to achieve further advancement next season, with our immediate goal being participation in the F1 Academy.
Though I remain immature both as an athlete and as a person, I pledge to strive even harder than before to meet your expectations!
